This Japanese garden was designed by Japanese landscape designer and stone sculptor Yasushi Hori for Yoko Quang Hanh Onsen, a premium hot spring resort developed by Sun Group in Quang Ninh, Vietnam.

Designer: Yasushi Hori. A renowned Japanese stone sculptor and landscape designer, internationally recognized for creating authentic Japanese gardens that harmonize natural stone, sculpted trees, water, and architectural space.

Project: Japanese Garden at Yoko Quang Hanh Onsen.

Location: Yoko Quang Hanh Onsen, Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam.

Project Type: Japanese Garden Design.

Concept & Design: Inspired by the philosophy of traditional Japanese gardens, the landscape was carefully composed using natural granite boulders, sculpted evergreen trees, white gravel, moss, and water features to create a tranquil environment that complements the surrounding limestone mountains. Every stone was individually selected and positioned to achieve a balanced composition, while winding pathways and layered planting evoke the feeling of a natural mountain landscape. Designed as an integral part of the onsen experience, the garden offers visitors a peaceful setting for relaxation and contemplation, expressing the timeless Japanese principles of simplicity, harmony, and respect for nature.
